2010 NAB Barossa Gourmet Weekend
Two glorious spring days sandwiched between much need rain graced this year's NAB Barossa Gourmet Weekend. After trudging through a bitterly cold winter, the Barossa flung open its doors to welcome the thousands of visitors who flocked to the region for this much loved regional food and wine event.
Participating wineries were thrilled with the response from attendees who sampled the finest wine from the region matched with delicious food and the best of S.A.’s live entertainment. The addition of the Fringe events including the Artisans of Barossa and the Magnificent 7 added a welcome dimension to the classic gourmet weekend format, as did the indulgent degustation dinners.
With the sunshine on their backs, visitors nestled into a true country atmosphere and soaked up the sensory banquet.
Developments and details of the 2011 NAB Gourmet Weekend will be available as programming starts early next year.
